Desktop App

As a default, your Little Green Button desktop app will be set to send out a generic 'Assistance Required' alert when activated.

If you'd like to change this, simply right click on your button > select 'Choose Alert Type' from the drop-down menu. This will bring up a list of pre-defined alerts (Fire, Intruder, Lockdown, and Medical) for you to choose from.

When you have selected the alert type you'd like, your button will update to show the corresponding alert icon (fire, in this example):

All alerts raised while an alert type has been selected will also show the corresponding alert text and icon:

N.B. - The 'Fire', 'Lockdown' and 'Intruder' alert types will have the 'respond' option greyed out, but users will still be able to 'dismiss' the alert by using the 'x' icon in the top right-hand corner. This is to avoid important mass notifications being responded to accidentally. You will still be able to respond to 'Medical' alerts.

You can change back to the 'Assistance Required' alert type at any point by bringing up the menu again and re-selecting this option.

Mobile App

For the Little Green mobile app, swipe up from the button to change your alert type.

This will bring up a menu. From here, you can choose your desired alert type:

As with the desktop app, the icons and text for all alerts raised will then correspond to the alert type chosen.

If you'd like to configure the default alert for your mobile app (i.e. the alert type that shows automatically whenever the app is opened) simply click the menu in the bottom right hand corner of the app > select 'Alert Type'.

From here, you can change the default alert type moving forward:
